Scadatest (US Patent 07066010) is Milbar's On Line pipeline service for real time display and logging of hydrostatic testing operations.
During testing operations, pipeline operators can login and view the testing operations in real-time.Pipeline operators can view the same information that is displayed in the test trailer, as well as, all stored test information.
This ability to access and review information facilitates test acceptance by pipeline operators. Milbar's Scadatest service is the perfect complement to handwritten logs and deadweight testers used on conventional hydrostatic tests.
It works as a backup to standard methods and gives greater resolution by collecting information on a continuous basis from all instruments, local and remote.
Parameters, such as target test pressure, maximum test pressure and minimum test pressure can be preset so that alarms can be issued to notify test personnel of the particular condition.
These features allow for greater hydrostatic test data interpretation, more reliable test administration and easier test data documentation retrieval.
Upon completion of the testing operations, standard hydrostatic test reports are issued along with a database of all information collected during the test.
